I had mixed feelings about my stay at Mar Ipanema Hotel. The location was fantastic, just a couple of blocks from the beach, but the service and room conditions left much to be desired. While I appreciated the friendly staff who tried to assist, my room was small, and some amenities were lacking or outdated.

However, the wifi was painfully slow and the noise from the DJ at the nearby restaurant made it hard to relax. I really enjoyed my stay at Mar Ipanema Hotel. the location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The hotel had a modern feel with clean accommodations, and I loved the complimentary breakfast-it was truly the highlight of my mornings! However, the noise from the street on Friday night was a bit disruptive, and I had a couple of minor issues with the room that needed attention.
